School of Communication Technology

The School of Communication and Information Technology is engaged in the production of manpower to provide services needed by libraries, offices, organizations and individuals.  This is done through educating students by building on the Polytechnic’s traditions of academic excellence.

The school attracts students seeking Library and Information Science, Mass Communication, Office Technology and Management education through dynamic and responsive academic programmes within the Polytechnic.  Students and staff are engaged in a vibrant learning community which is student focused.

The School aims are fulfilled by taking a comprehensive approach across a wider range of disciplines in Librarianship, Mass Communication, Office Technology and Management and the school tries to pursue the highest level of excellence through teaching, learning and research.  The focus is on intellect, energy and resources on key strategic initiatives with measurable objectives to pursue excellence and innovation.

The Academic offers include 10 majors, 7 minors, and more than 20 in major specializations so your study will surely reflect your interests and strengths.
