The Academic Board of the Polytechnic during an emergency meeting held on Monday 19th October, 2020 approved the revised Academic Calendar for the 2019/2020 academic session which was interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic closure of schools nationwide.
Following the approval of the Academic Calendar, resumption and revision for the 1st and 3rd Semester has been slated for Monday 26th to Saturday 31st October, 2020. The 1st and 3rd Semester Examinations will take place from Monday 2nd to Saturday 28th November, 2020. Other major highlights of the Revised Academic Calendar are on the designated notice Boards on the campus.
In the light of the above, staff and students are hereby informed that normal academic activities in the polytechnic will resume fully as from Monday 26th October, 2020. All returning students are expected to come along with the following items as directed by the Presidential “Task Force on Covid–19:
Washable Face Mask;
Hand Sanitizer to cover the remaining part of 2019/2020 academic session;
In the same vein, staff and students are seriously implored to obey and respect all safety protocols in respect of the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure a free and healthy campus environment.
Finally, it is the earnest prayer and wish of the Ag. Rector and Management of the Polytechnic that both staff and students will be dedicated to their responsibilities for the success of all academic activities for the semester.
