School of Agricultural Technology

The School of Agricultural Technology has standard and well developed infrastructure both for teaching and research. These include fully stocked Animal Farm, Veterinary clinic, Mechanized crop farm, Orchard, Vegetable Garden, Arable Crop Farm, Commercial Farm, and Plantations for Gum Arabic, Moringa, Date palm, Sugarcane and paddy rice farm.  Others are Wood Grave Land, Herbarium, Green House and well established Fish Farm. In its quest for research, the School has in place well equipped indoor and outdoor Laboratories, well equipped Agric and Bio-Environmental Engineering Tech Workshop and Feed Mill, and highly skilled professionals.

The future of the School remains bright as the current Federal Government focus is on diversification of non-oil sector with Agriculture being at the fore front. Most of the middle manpower required for this new national economic outlook will depend on the products from this School and other similar program.

The Academic offers include 10 majors, 15 minors, and more than 50 in major specializations so your study will surely reflect your interests and strengths.
